What is Data Entry job?
"In Data Entry Jobs you have to enter data or information into a computer using devices such as your keyboard, scanner, disk and voice."
Types of Data Entry job:
There are two types of data entry :
No 1. Taking information from a scanned document such as a book or magazine and converting it to a World or Excel file.
No 2. In this you have to convert data from one form to another. For example, you will get a Word file or a PDF file and you have to convert it to Excel or you will be given an Excel file which you need to convert to PDF or Word.

Not only do these two types of data entry work, but your client may occasionally ask you to research a few things.They can also ask you to get the names of different companies, the names of their cities and their emails.You should be mentally prepared for research. Therefore, it is important that whenever you apply for a job, you must read the description.
Equipments needed for Data Entry job :
You will need a computer to do all this work.So you must have a computer because you can't do this work on mobile.The display of the mobile is not big enough to work with two screens open at the same time.The screen of a normal computer is also not big enough to open two screens at the same time.So if possible, install two screens with your computer. This will make your job easier.
You must have Microsoft Office installed on your computer.Most of your work will be based on this software.So you should have a good knowledge of this software. It's not that you are an expert in it but you should know enough about it , so that you can use it well.Even if you don't have Microsoft Office, you can still use Google Docs and Google Sheets.But I would highly recommend that you use Microsoft Office only.

If your typing speed is 100 WPM then you can do the data entry job very well and better.You can also use some software like Typing Master and some websites like typingtest.com to improve your typing speed. This will improve your typing speed, which will help you to enter data.
